Unlike any other Sunday, we spent this one in Saïda with the “Missionary group” discovering ancient castles, soap factories, museums, and saida’s old sook. While getting to explore Lebanon, we also got the chance to expand our religious knowledge. We were lucky to meet and get to know closer sheikh Mohamed Abi Zeid in the Bahaa eddine Hariri mosque to learn more about the religion of our Muslim brothers. In addition to that, we learned about the 7 criteria to become one of Jesus’s disciples while also getting the chance to visit the church where St Peter and St Paul met. We ended our special day by visiting a soap factory to see how the magic happens. All in all, it was truly an unforgettable day during which we learned a lot about our own country’s history and religious background.
